Miss Marissa

Seeing as how my immune system has decided to not cooperate, I'm spending the day re-watching (for the hundredth time) The OC. No joke, I've seen all of Season 3 at least ten times. I probably shouldn't admit to that..

Anyone else out there a fan? I know it's several years old, but Marissa Cooper has remained my muse for years. Partly because when I started watching the show I didn't live in "The OC," but once we moved here I felt like I was HER. Okay, that might be a little bit dramatic, but a girl can dream.. right? Marissa's style throughout the show definitely blossomed into a very chic, bohemian, California girl and I idolized it. Not to mention her luscious locks and to-die-for bod. Ah, whenever I'm in need of inspiration or feeling a bit lost I tend to turn to Miss Marissa.

Ah, forever a Marissa Cooper fan.

Golden Globe Fashion Favorites

Nude/peachy gold seemed to be the color of the evening for Young Hollywood. I'm lovin' it on these girls.

Lea Michelle looks so sweet. Totally age appropriate and a definite glow to her. Megan Fox, is well.. Megan Fox. Not her finest moment, but I do like the bodice of the dress.

Wasn't a huge fan of Emma Stone's blonde hair at first, but I think she looks pretty glam here! The tan definitely helps. She almost looks like a cross between Kate Bosworth and Lindsay Lohan (on her good days).

OH MY GOD, this emerald green color is absolutely GORGEOUS. Mila Kunis was jaw dropping last night (when is she not though?)
I really liked Olivia Wilde's dress.. for prom. Ha, it's very full at the bottom and not exactly what I would call Hollywood Glam/Chic, but it would make an excellent Prom Dress.

Love... and other drugs

Had a date with my mama today-- shopping, lunch and Love & Other Drugs. Surprisingly, it wasn't shopping that wore me out.. but the tears that came during the intense "I love you, but this can't happen" scenes. The chemistry between Hathaway and Gyllenhaal is unmatched by any other couple to date. (Yes, they beat Edward and Bella.. haha) But seriously, as if these two weren't the hottest things ever, the script pulls you in and I was "falling in love" with their relationship.

Anne Hathaway has definitely blossomed over the years.. I don'y mean physically, because looking back at Princes Diaries she definitely had curves-- but she has become a woman. With such a variety in her roles and ability to portray each one flawlessy, I have such respect for her. Oh and has anyone noticed how hot she's gotten lately?

Okay, okay, I realize this one's a bit older.. but I absolutely adored this outfit in Devil Wears Prada.

Scratch the Christmas wishlist a few posts back.. He will do. :)

Can't forget Anne's INSANE hair.
Although this movie isn't filled with amazing ensembles or dresses and boots that will leave you oooing and aweing.. art plays a very prominent role as Hathaway's characther, Maggie, is an aspiring artist.

Her loft styled apartment is filled with poloroid snapshots, black and white photos and paint splattered canvases. I couldn't help but wish that I had a camera just like hers.. and well, her wit. PS. The artistry in the black and white sex tape, and also how all their sexy scenes were filmed is amazing. The angles, angst, anxiety-- all captured perfectly.

Words cannot begin to express how much I infatuated with this movie!

AMA RECAP

AND OMG OMG OMG OMG, I AM OBSESSED WITH TAYLOR'S HAIR STRAIGHT & WITH BANGS!

Miley's hair and makeup look gorgeous.. can't say the same thing for the dress. Although the front of the dress is uber cute, the rest of it looks like a roll of toilet paper.

And here she looks like a Pagan worshiper or something? Um..

Mandy Moore is HOTT, her legs look fabulous.

I think Willow Smith is the cutest thing, EVER. I adore that entire family, I think they are extremely talented and well.. I'll always love my Fresh Prince.

Lil' bit confused by Ke$ha's eyebrows.. and the mohawk. She said somewhere her inspiration was her recent sky-diving and how her hair looked afterwards.. but really? That's the only reason it should look like that.

Fergie looks like she ran over a peacock.

Wasn't a fan of Rihanna's hair at first.. but it's starting to grow on me. And the dress! My God, girl knows how to rock an outfit.

Is Nicki Minaj TRYING to make up for the absence of Gaga tonight? Cuz it certainly DID NOT work. Her hair looks like Kermit the Frog threw up on it, or she fell into a radio active swamp. The dress was just weird in general. I can't seem to find a picture of her shoes, but they looked like they were fashioned after Mama Monster. 1809380234 inch sqaure like stilettos?

Miss Katy Perry is topping my charts lately. I think she's quirky and has pretty rad style. Her makeup is flawless I like her usual version of the pin-up girl. But the ensemble she wore for "Fireworks" wasn't the most flattering piece. Her arms looked super toned, but the pants just weren't doing anything for her middle.

Probably my favorite dress of the night. ^^

Kay, so not the greatest picture of Michael Buble.. but MMMM, 'nuff said.

Oh, and am the only one that was slightly disturbed by the Backstreet Boys/New Kids mash up? There was a reason that boy bands died with the turn of the decade.

That's WAY too much boy band for one stage..
