So the job I just got hired for is at a James Perse pop-up store for the holidays in South Coast Plaza. Prior to the interview, I had heard of the name but I was not sure where from. Turns out that Nordstroms, Bloomingdales and Saks sell his line!
"From tanks, to tees, dresses, and shorts James Perse LA puts a fresh spin on casual and laidback attire for both men and women alike. California native James Perse, who is no newbie to the fashion industry, (his father is Tommy Perse, owner of Maxfield, a high end boutique in Los Angeles) designs clothing for the everyday person, who enjoys looking stylish while being extremely comfortable. The mostly cotton collection provides for breathable and breezy attire on a nice and sunny LA day." --Dominique Zonyéé
"I've always been about being true. I consider myself a California brand. It doesn't matter where I am in the world I'm still trying to communicate that this is what it's like here." --J.Perse
